Join us for a full read-through (and sing-through!) of a new, original musical in development: Bridge City. Written by Kennen Butler and presented by American Legacy Theatre, Bridge City delves into the Black experience in America, celebrating the dreams, joy, and aspirations of the Black community while exploring societal pressures without focusing on trauma. Bridge City opens a conversation about the many ways to be Black, making it a family affair filled with meaningful connection and insight.

known for their acting roles in the national tour and revival of Seussical the Musical directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, Hairspray, Man #1 in Songs for a New World music directed by AJ Rafael, and Tommy, among many others.
